William (Billy) E. Parks, age 83 of Louisville, departed this life to be with the Lord Wednesday April 25, 2007. He was a member and deacon at Louisville First Baptist Church. He loved to trade on anything, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army having fought in the Battle of the Bulge in WWII.

Preceded in death by wife, Thelma Bernice Parks, son Dennis Parks, grandson, Mark Chiles, brother, Clarence Parks, parents, Robert L. and Louella Carroll Parks, son in law, Harold McCarter.

Survivors, daughters, Linda McCarter of Louisville, Carolyn Chiles of Maryville, son and daughter in law, Louis E. and Peggy F. Parks of Maryville, son Gary Parks of Louisville, granddaughters, Tammy Parks, Pam McGrew, grandson, Dustin Parks, sisters in law, Shirley Jackson, Alma Parks both of Maryville, sister in law and husband, Dot and Roy Stevenson of Maryville, special friend Donny Debuty, several nephews. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Funeral service 3:00 PM Friday April 27, 2007 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Charles Parker officiating. Interment to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery with full military honors. Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
