Audrey Dunkle Kendall Clark, 86, of Huntington, WV, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2011, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington.

Audrey was born July 31, 1924, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Teddy Eldridge and Mary Elizabeth Barbour Dunkle.

In her youth, she was a secretary and hostess for the former C & O Railroad and was a former secretary of Ashland Oil. She was a member of Highlawn Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Friendship Sunday School Class and her Bible Study Group. She was a homemaker, golfer, bowler, and a member of the Riviera Country Club.

Her first husband, Robert Carl Kendall, her second husband, Burton Daymon "Chub" Clark, a brother, Verlin E. Dunkle, a sister, Maxine Booth, cousins, Phyllis Barbour Wolfe and Louise Barbour Adkins, and a nephew, Ted Booth, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include, a son and daughter-in-law, Larry Robert and Josephine Grove Kendall of Huntington, a step son, Larry and Charlotte Clark of Huntington, a step daughter, Linda Clark Lee of Richmond, VA., a sister, Thelma D. Rupe of Huntington, six grandchildren, Meredith Elayne Kendall Allen and her husband, Jason of Illinois, B.J. Clark Ayers and her husband, Dr. David Ayers, David Clark, Phillip Clark, Amy Lee Klein, and Austin Lee, five great-grandchildren; a niece, Elizabeth Ann "Betsy" Booth Weiler and her husband, John of Huntington, nephews, Tim Dunkle and his wife, Janet and Tom Dunkle and his wife, Betty, all of Huntington, a great- nephew, Dr. Eric A. Weiler of Greenville, SC., and many close friends including, Eloise Baumgardner of Barboursville, and Sue Clark of Culloden.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 p.m. Sunday, February 13, 2011, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with her Sunday school teacher, Mike Lacy officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, at Rose Hill Burial Park, Ashland, Ky., with her Bible Study Group officiating.

Friends may call from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m Sunday, at Chapman's Mortuary.
