Robert K. Hahn, a retired carpentry instructor, died June 19 at 5:58 a.m. in St. Joseph Medical Center, where he had been a patient less than a day. Hahn, 83, Reading, was the husband of Jane E. (Stuber) Hahn. He was employed for 27 years as a cabinet making and carpentry teacher by the Reading-Muhlenberg Vocational Technical School, retiring in 1989. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Samuel and Ida (Smith) Hahn. Hahn was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Reading. Hahn was a 1939 graduate of Reading High School and a graduate of Temple University, Philadelphia, with a bachelor's degree in education. He was treasurer for many years of the Combined Church Dart League. Hahn is also survived by two sons. Other survivors include a brother, Alexander S., Reading. There are also four grandchildren. Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Bean Funeral Homes Inc., Reading. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton.
