CLYDE -- Ray C. Ramos, 53, died Thursday in an Abilene hospital.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Knox Waggoner officiating. Burial will be in Eula Cemetery.

Mr. Ramos was born in Taylor and moved to Clyde as a small child. He graduated from Clyde High School in 1963 and attended Ranger Junior College. He married Brenda Moore in 1973 in Baird and worked as a brick mason. He was a Catholic.

Survivors include his wife, of Clyde; two sons, Edward Ramos of Arlington and Maxie Ramos of Clyde; one daughter, Carla Ramos of Clyde; four brothers, Elmer Ramos of Abilene, and David Ramos, Joe Ramos and Manuel Ramos, all of Clyde; three sisters, Mary Herrera of Austin, Lena Dominguez of Clyde and Mary Alvarez of Phoenix, Ariz.; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
