She was born in Rockford, Ohio, and lived in Auburn more than 30 years. She was a former resident of East Syracuse, a member of Westminister Presbyterian Church, Auburn Circle No. 49, Ladies of the DAR, and the Thelma Rebekah Lodge No. 188, 100F.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth F. Rushey of Syracuse, Mrs. John E. Ryther of Auburn, and Mrs. Duane P. Truez (Truex), Jr. of Syracuse; five sons, Carl E. of Pullman, Wash., Cloyd W. of Fayettville, Harold W. of Allentown, Pa., Robert E. of Commack, and G. Donald Ricketts of Bridgeport, Conn.; a sister, Mrs. Edna Newton of Dayton, Ohio; 24 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Brew Funeral Home, 48 south St. Burial will be in Foryt Hill Cemetery.
