AGED MINISTER SUCCUMBS AS THE RESULT OF A FALL
Rev. Luther B. Churchill died at 2 o'clock this Friday morning at his home in Jamestown and his body was brought to the C. H. Burden undertaking parlors in Sonora for burial preparation.
Deceased was aged 91 years and for long years followed the ministry, but retired long since. He was in apparent excellent health, and mentally very bright until last Monday when he fell in crossing the floor and struck heavily against a chair. The shock proved to be serious and his decline was steady until death occurred.
The old gentleman was cared for by a son of late years. He is survived by two other sons and a daughter, Mrs. Frank Willitts of this city. The funeral will take place from the Masonic Temple at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon under the auspices of that fraternity.
