Cunnick-Collins Mortuary, Davenport, is in charge of arrangements.
Cecil died Sunday, April 9, 2006, at his home.
Cecil Coon was born March 23, 1927, in Somers, Iowa, to Elmer and May Picksley Coon.
Survivors include his sisters, Norma Bane and Carrie Bane, both of Mount Joy; two special friends,
Pamela Kinner and Michael Seibert. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Services for Carrie M. Bane, 78, of Davenport, will be 1:30 p.m. today at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary Chapel, Davenport, with visitation noon to services. Burial will follow in National Cemetery, Arsenal Island.
Mrs. Bane died at her home on Saturday, January 12, 2008.
She was born November 15, 1929, to Elmer and Mae Picksley Coon in Somers, Iowa. She married Teddy M. Bane August 31, 1953, in Rock Island. He preceded her in death in September 1970.
Survivors include her sister, Norma (Bobby) Bane, Davenport, and many friends.

Funeral services for Norma D. Bane, 77, of Davenport will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 7, 2011 at the Cunnick-Collins Mortuary chapel in Davenport. Inurnment will be at a later date. Family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the mortuary. Mrs. Bane passed away on Friday, December 31, 2010 at Genesis Medical Center – East Rusholme Street, Davenport.
Norma Delores Coon was born in Somers, IA on April 30, 1933, the daughter of Elmer and Mae (Picksley) Coon. In 1952, she married Bobby Lee Bane in Davenport. She worked as a waitress at the former Triangle Truck Port (Harlan's Truck Port) and in later years at the I-80 Truck Stop. Norma was an avid fan of country music. She enjoyed gardening, baking, and animals. Norma enjoyed spending time with her family, but her greatest love was cheering on the Chicago Cubs.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Bobby, of Davenport.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son: Ronnie, a brother: Cecil, and a sister: Carrie.
