Illness Fatal To Rosendale Woman
RIPON-Miss Jessie M. Whitney, 67, of Rosendale, died at Ripon Municipal Hospital Thursday following a two-weeks illness.
Miss Whitney was born March 31, 1887, at Rosendale Center, the daughter of the late, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Whitney. She had resided at Rosendale Center, Rosendale and for the past year, at Ripon.
She was educated in the Rosendale public school and was a member of the Rosendale Congregational Church and of the Rebekah Lodge of Ripon. During her adult life she had been a practical nurse.
Surviving are a brother, J. Earl Whitney, Rt. 2, Brandon and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Rosendale Congregational Church with the Rev. Harold Chamberlain officiating. Burial will be in the Rosendale Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Lowe Funeral Home after 10 a.m. Saturday until 12:30 p.m. Sunday thereafter at the church at Rosendale.
