Lucille met and married Harry Hahn in 1926. He preceded her in death in 1954.
She was a longtime resident of Mertzon, Texas, before moving to San Angelo, Texas, in 1957. She attended beauty school in 1956, to become a hairdresser. Lucille owned and operated Cilles Beauty Shop for approximately 20 years until retirement. After retirement, she moved to Christian Village where she lived for 18 years. She was very involved in her church, Angelo Heights United Methodist Church, which later moved to the southwest part of San Angelo and became Sierra Vista United Methodist Church. Lucille was a charter member of Sierra Vista United Methodist Church and a longtime member of the Mary Martha Sunday school class.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Hahn; one brother, A.J. Rolston; and five sisters, Lela Wagner, Bulah McFarlane, Myrtle Wyatt, Opal Nutt and Omega Rolston. She is survived by two sons, Dean Hahn and wife Billie of Glen Rose, Texas, Johnny Hahn and wife Paulette of Evant, Texas; one daughter, Janie Mohler of San Angelo, Texas; five grandchildren, Jeff Hahn of Midlothian, Texas, Heather Lankford of Hurst, Texas, Melissa Vercigilo of San Antonio, Texas, Joyce Brotherton and Sandra Wickson, both of San Angelo, Texas; 10 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held all day at Shaffer Funeral Home in San Angelo, Texas, on Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011, with the family present from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Funeral service to be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 7, 2011, at Sierra Vista United Methodist Church in San Angelo, Texas, with burial to follow in Mertzon, Texas, in the Mertzon Cemetery. Arrangements are by Shaffer Funeral Home/Sherwood Way.
