William H. Yeokum, 83, Dies: Rites Tomorrow
William H. Yeokum, 83, retired Kansas City Southern boilermaker, died Sunday morning in a Kansas City hospital.
Mr. Yeokum was born March 13, 1860, in Illinois. He resided in Pittburg fourteen years and then moved to Joplin. He went to Kansas City last December to make his home with a daughter, Mrs. Nadine Justus.
Survivors in addition to Mrs. Justus include two other daughters, Mrs. Gladys Land of Englewood, California, and Mrs. Hazel Smith of Kansas City; three sons, Clarence R. Yeokum, 511 North Grand, Orville C. Yeokum of Nevada, Missouri, and C. R. Yeokum of Parsons; two brothers, George Yeokum of Oklahoma City and John Yeokum of Mulberry; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the E. K. Smith Chapel.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.
