Named for his coloring, Brindle was a great dog.

Of course by the time he and his litter mates were born, my Mom was not up to house braking any more dogs. So he and his sister, Lady, slept in the garage. My Dad made a dog house out of an old wooden box for them. In it we put blankets for them to lay on.

Truth be told I remember very little about him and his sister. Mainly because they were outside dogs.

One thing I do remember, is how much he and Lady loved to chase the squirrels. And the squirrels knew it. The squirrels would climb the tree just above where the dogs could reach and watch them bark their fool heads off.

Brinny loves to chase a basketball around the backyard. He would catch the ball between his head and front paws and growl as his pushed it around.
