According to the online death index, Lucy's parents were James Duncan and Mary Potter. She died as a Snodgrass but is buried as Brooks.
Mrs. Lucy Snodgrass, 70, died at her home in Kittitas last night. It is believed she died during a coughing attack.
Her body was found by neighbors this morning on a bed in the room where her husband, George Snodgrass, 84, was bed ridden with rheumatism. He had been brought home Sunday afternoon from a hospital where he had been under treatment.
He was unable to summon help and when Vern Farnham of Kittitas went to the house today he found the doors locked and was forced to crawl through a window in response to Mr. Snodgrass' calls. Mrs. Snodgrass was born March 16, 1875.
