OAK GROVE (Special) ~ Funeral services for Joseph Sellers, 74, of Forest, were to be held at 2 p.m. today in Forest Baptist Church with the Revs Jimmy Sheppard and Ross Swindler officiating.

Burial was in Forest Cemetery at Forest Baptist Church under direction of First National Funeral Home.

Mr. Sellers died early Monday morning at his residence after a short illness.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Birtie [s/b Bertie] Sellers of Forest; two sons, Glynn, of Memphis, Tenn., and Charles, of New Iberia; a daughter, Mrs. Meredith Johnson of Monroe, four brothers, Lamar of Forest; J. F. of Monroe, W. O. of Oak Grove and C. E. of Washington; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Bandcroft [s/b Bancroft], and Mrs. Ruth White, both of Forest; and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Lavelle White, Hardy Sellers, W. H. Bandcroft [s/b Bancroft], Wilndel [s/b Wendell] Sellers, A. H. Amason and Willie Ray Sellers.
