Devone Northcutt, 79, of Strawberry, died Jan. 29, 2006, at St. Bernards in Jonesboro.

Born Oct. 29, 1926, at Saffell, she was the daughter of James Henry and Donia Richmond Huskey. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Harmony Free Will Baptist Church in Saffell.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Willie Huskey, Burl Huskey, Orville Huskey and Raymond Huskey; and two sisters, Verna Ballard and Kathleen Lewallen.

Survivors include her husband, Gilbert Northcutt; two sons, Robert Northcutt and Randall Northcutt, both of Strawberry; a brother, Monroe Huskey, Saffell; a sister, Florine Harris, Strawberry; five grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral was Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Mt. Harmony Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Stanley Vandergriff officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery, near Dowdy, under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Pallbearers were Jerry Ray Huskey, Rickey Huskey, Junior Huskey, Shane Watts, Steve Huskey and Eddie Ray Doyle. Honorary pallbearers were David Allen and Jerry Lee Huskey.
