A resident of West Carroll parish for 13 years, prior to eight years ago, F. M. Sellers, who succumbed to a heart ailment Tuesday night of last week at his home in Monticello community, several miles east of Epps in East Carroll, was buried last Thursday afternoon in Forest cemetery.
Funeral services were conducted at Monticello Baptist church, of which the deceased was a member, with the Rev. O. O. Bryan, pastor, in charge of the rites.
Mr. Sellers was stricken on Monday afternoon, while working in his cotton field, and had remained in bed until death came Tuesday around midnight.
A native of Mississippi, Mr. Sellers moved with his family to West Carroll about 21 years ago. He left the parish eight years ago and moved to Texas where he remained only one year. Since that time he had lived in Monticello community, East Carroll parish.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. W. F. Kennedy and Miss Jewell Sellers, of Monticello community, and three sons, Edward Sellers, Lubbock, Texas, and Leonard and Howard Sellers, Monticello.
