Norah GOODSON Owen is daughter of Jefferson Pierce Goodson and Martha WHITTLE Goodson.
She married Richard "Emmett" Owen.
Norah and Emmett are parents of Richard "Leonard" Owen, Melvin J.P. "Buster" Owen, "Martha" Lorene OWEN Cooper, "Ruth" Wanda OWEN Brooks Fowler, "Mildred" OWEN, "Lester" Bert Owens, "R.E." Edwin Owen, "Wilda" Fay OWEN Hendrix and James Roan "Jimmy" Owen.
Grandma Owen was a petite, dark-haired Christian woman with a strong head on her shoulders for business and the like who loved gardening and her family. Her hair was as long as she was tall; and she kept it up on her head in the daytime. No matter when you saw her or what chore she was performing, she was always immaculately clean, prim and proper. She was Methodist but attended West Point Church (a union church) when she could no longer travel easily to Rescue Methodist Church.
