Mrs. Sarah Jane Davis 7(7?) resident of Topeka 25 years died today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D. E. Cain. She was born in Bellefontaine, OH June 10, 1865, and came to Kan. at an early age. She was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are three sons. W. E. Davis, Chicago; W.H. Davis, Colorado Springs, Colo., and L. F. Davis, Topeka; four daughters, Mrs. V. O. Enlow, Chicago; Mrs. R. F. Poynter, Kansas City, MO; Mrs. E. H. Hewins, Hastings, Neb., and Mrs. D. E. Cain, Topeka; 16 grandchildren; five sisters and one brother.
The body was taken to the Wall-Diffenderfer mortuary. The family requests no flowers be sent. December 25, 1942
