Frazeysburg- Leland S. Ashcraft, 57, of Frazeysburg Route 2, died at 7:30a.m. today at his home, the result of a heart attack.
Mr. Ashcraft was a farmer and oil field worker, an employee of the Shrider Drilling Co.. He was born July 3, 1914 on Frazeysburg Route 2, ason of the late Mansfield and Lula Drumm Ashcraft.
Surviving are his wife, the former Eloise Larr: four children, James L. Ashcraft and David L. Ashcraft, both of Frazeysburg Route 1; Mrs. Russell (Yvonne) Thomas, Warsaw Route 3, and Miss Debra Ashcraft, of the home; five grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Floyd (Marabel) Willey, and one brother, Lincoln Ashcraft both of Frazeysburg Route 2.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Baughman and Sons Funeral Home in Frazeysburg. The Rev. Rozell Stattler will be in charge, with burial in Frazeysburg cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
