Age 54, passed away Friday, May 28, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. Pat is survived by her loving mother, Ann Tomlin; devoted sister, Carol Tomlin; aunts, Victoria (late Frank) Tomlin, Francis Henik, Judy (Thomas) Henik, Helen (late Victor) Henik and Lee (late Harry) Cialkowski; and numerous cousins.
Preceded in death by her father, Jack Tomlin; aunts, Betty Tomlin, Eva Garson and Anna Bretsch; uncle, John Henik.
Pat was a lifetime resident of the area, a graduate of Merrillville High School and a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church. Pat courageously fought her two year battle with cancer.
She was always optimistic and never lost hope. She will always be remembered for her unique personality and talents. She fulfilled her dream of being a college graduate earning several degrees from Indiana University.
Pat enjoyed many crafts such as ceramics, pottery, sewing and painting. Her special hand-made gifts will be missed by many. Pat will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her especially her beloved pets, Tigi and Zoey.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2010 beginning with prayers at 9:30 am at the funeral chapel going to St Andrew the Apostle Church for 10:00 AM Mass 801 W. 73rd Avenue Merrillville, IN with Rev. Brian Chadwick officiating.
Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel 7535 Taft Street Merrillville, IN. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 PM. For information, call 219-736-5840.
