Services for Glen H. Quillin, 91, of Lufkin, were held Sunday, Aug. 22 in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
Mr. Quillin was born June 24, 1913 in Hallsville to the late John Ed and Tressie (Schaffer) Quillin, and died Friday, Aug. 20 in a Lufkin retirement center. He owned and operated Quillin's Furniture Store for 34 years and was a past president of the Kiwanis Club. He served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Corp during World War II. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
