TURNER FAMILY HISTORY and Records:
*******************************
The family has in its possession an old oak sea chest with rope handles and on the inside cover of which David Noble Milligan had painted many Masonic symbols.
He gave it to his daughter, Mary Rosanna when she and her husband left England;
he told her she was going to a land where they did not know anyone, that if she had any problems, to lift the cover and let the masonic symbol be shown, and that someone would help her.
