Georgia Ruth (Carter) Walesiak, 83, of Vilonia, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2011, at Conway Healthcare and Rehabilitation. She was born October 17, 1927, in Monroe County, a daughter of the late Joseph G. and Ora Belle (McKinney) Carter. Mrs. Walesiak was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Walesiak; a daugher, Patsy Ruth Abbott; a son, Glenn Ray Chism; brothers and sisters, Helen Carter, Joseph Carter, Edith Grady, Granville Carter, Aubry Carter, Cairl Carter, and Louella Harper. She was a retired LPN.
Survivors are her children, Robert D. Wills and wife Lou Jane, of Wooster; Kenneth Chism and wife Peggy of Norco, California; Donna Cottrell and husband Larry of Vilonia; sisters, Florence Catlett and Lola Russell; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren; as well as many nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, January 18, 2011, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier. Funeral will be 3:00 pm, Wednesday, in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pine Mountain Cemetery, under the direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Greenbrier. 501-679-2575.
