Mrs. Nancy A. Whitney, aged 83 years, died at her home at Hubbardtown, Saturday, Oct. 6. She was the widow of Joseph Whitney, one of the best known men in the town of Candor. Since his death she had been cared for by her daughter, Mrs. G. N. Hubbard. Funeral services were held at the house Tuesday morning and the body was buried in the Woodbridge cemetery at Catatonk.--Candor Courier.
