Fred R Becker, a Butte resident since 1932, died Thrusday at his home at 1023 West Gold.
He was born in Germany on April 3, 1885, and started his education there. He came to the United States with his parents when he was 9. The family first settled in Missouri where he completed his education.
He ranched near Livingston, MT for about 20 years before moving to Butte, where he was employed by the Anaconda Company until he retired in 1957.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Mary Kipena of Seattle and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are pending at Sayatovic-White's Funeral Home.
