Mrs. Ellen Chapman Atkinson, 65, wife of Thomas J. Atkinson, died at the family residence Wednesday after a nine weeks illness.
Mrs. Atkinson was born March 16, 1867, at Sunk Island, Yorkshire, England, a daughter of William and Mary Robinson Chapman. She joined the L D. S. church at Hull, England 45 years ago and came to the United States in 1915, making her home in Millcreek.
Surviving are her husband;seven children, Mrs. Emily Rynearson, Miss Florence Atkinson and William C. Atkinson of Millcreek; Fred Atkinson, Los Angeles, Cal.; George W. Atkinson and Mrs. Annie Stauffer, Salt Lake City and Mrs. Elsie Park, Granger; 29 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Burial will take place in the Mill Creek Cemetery.
