She was our mother. She is loved and greatly missed.

She had six children: James (b.1940, d.1940), Doug, Frankie, Kathy, Sandy, David.

She had 8 grandkids before she died and 5 born after. There are 15 great-grandkids, currently.

She was married to our Dad, Byron F. Granger, Jr. (always called "Granger", d.12-30-99) for 32 years 9 months (m.12-18-39).

Mother was born in Baytown, Texas to John and Nora Kirk. She had two sisters, Janet (pronounced "Jeanette") (d.1952) and Ruth (d.1996), and three brothers, William (d.1965), Lloyd (d.2013), and Olin Lewis Moon. Her father died at an early age. Her mother died in Houston in March 1987.

She was blessed with two nicknames, Peaches and Berta. Mother never went by Ethel. I don't remember ever hearing her speak that name.

Mother was a wonderful woman that God called home too soon (according to us she left behind). Her unexpected death left a void where Hearth and Home use to be.

We all love you and will never stop missing you until we all meet again.

(Thanks to all who leave a flower. Mother loved flowers)
