Hubert Litle of Lockwood went to be with his Lord on Wednesday the 24th of June 2009 at Cox Hospital, Springfield, at the age of 80.
Hubert was born in Lockwood, MO on February 6, 1929 to Troy and Itress (Shanks) Litle. He married Suetta Sparks August 4, 1951. (She was the only girl he ever dated.) He was preceed in death by his parents,two sisters, Roberta Litle and Dorothy (Litle) Page, and four brothers-in-law, Glenn Koon, Danny Weimer, Thomas Page and Bill Dehart.
He is survived by his wife, Suetta of Lockwood, and their children, Tony and wife, Wanda, Litle of Linden, TN, Theresa and her husband, Steve Logan, of Springfield, MO, and Terry and his wife, Cathy, Litle of Napa, CA; their grandchildren, Allen (Anje) Litle of Columbus, GA, Troy (Nicky) Litle of Lobelville, TN, Amber (Adam) Wallace of Springfield, MO, Christopher (Krystal) Litle of Linden, TN, Brad Logan of Lee's Summit, MO, Stacey (Cody) Stafford of Springfield, MO, Destiny Litle of Long Beach, CA. and Jordan (Christina) Litle of Long Beach, CA; their great-grandchildren, Lexi, Alex, Brexton, Ande and Anna; and his siblings, Leland and wife, Hazel, Litle of Kansas City, Leona Weimer of Lockwood, Dale and his wife, Donna,Litle, Sharon Bernauer, Larry and his wife Mae, Litle of Greenfield, and Beverly and her husband, Clarke, Blackwell of Lockwood.
Hubert was a Korean War Veteran, as well as a member of the American Legion and the First Baptist Church of Lockwood. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His greatest joy was derived from his grandchildren and great-granchildren. He loved to travel and enjoyed listening to religious music.
Services were held Saturday, June 27, 2009 at First Baptist Church, Lockwood, MO under the direction of the Lockwood Funeral Chapel.
