Rosetta Henriette, Second child of eight, second daughter of four of Hermann and Ernestine (Rathel) Zessin.

Sister of Louise (Dittberner), Oscar, William, Herman, Lillie (Sattler), Bertha (Eucker) and Albert Zessin.

Wife of Henry W. Boysen, whom she married on September 18, 1907.

Mother of Eight children: Lucile, Rosetta, Edwin, Henry Boysen, LaVerna (Ray), Eileen (Hendricks), Loraine (Deklotz), Aletha (Nathan).

OBITUARY:
Rosetta H. Boysen
Funeral services for Rosetta H. Boysen, 95, were held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Madison, with burial in the St. John Cemetery in Green Garden.
Mrs. Boysen passed away in an Albion hospital on July 4.
Rev. James L. Hoke officiated at the funeral service with Mrs. Bill Blank as the soloist, congregational singing and Bill Schmidt as the organist.
Pallbearers were eight grandsons, Mylan Boysen of Kansas City, Mo.; James Nathan of Denver; Joe Deklotz of Cleveland, Ohio; Tim Deklotz and Mark Hendricks, both of Omaha; Bob Hendricks of Princeton, N.J.; and Jack Nathan and Joe Ray, both of Madison.
Rosetta Henrietta Boysen, the daughter of Herman and Ernestine Rathel Zessin, was born in Green Garden precinct on October 22, 1885. She was baptized on November 22, 1885 by Rev. J. Hoffman and confirmed on March 26, 1899 by Rev. E. Denninger, both at the St. John Lutheran Church in Green Garden.
Mrs. Boysen was married to Henry Boysen on September 18, 1907, wth the Rev. E. Just officiating. The couple farmed in the Green Garden community until 1948 when they moved into Madison.
Mrs. Boysen transferred her membership to the Trinity Lutheran Church in 1964.
Survivors are four daughters; Lucile Boysen and Rosetta Boysen, both of Madison; Eileen Hendricks of Omaha; and Aletha Boysen of Warrensburg, Mo.; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and one sister, Bertha Eucker, of Norfolk.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Boysen, one son, Edwin, two daughters, LaVerna Ray and Loraine Deklotz, two grandchildren, her parents, two sisters and five brothers.
