Born March 15, 1912, in Toulon to J. Alvin and Myrtle E. Massie Rice, she married Rolland Anderson on Oct. 18, 1942, in Kewanee. He survives.
Also surviving are several cousins.
She and her husband farmed near Kewanee for many years. She was a secretary for Kewanee Boiler Co., retiring in 1975. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and Vasa Lodge in Bishop Hill. She was a member of the Burns Grange and Reader's Rendezvous.
She was a member of First Methodist Church, its Methodist Women and Thelo Class.
