Kathy and John's Family: I was so very stunned when I called today to arrange a time for John to work on our lawnmowers as he had done for the past several years. Please accept our condolences as John was a very special person. He was fair man, a true fixer of things, devoted to you as he told me several times, and a kind, gentle soul. I'm sure he is looking down at us this very moment as we experience the sadness of his passing. May God bless our friend, John Brewer, and look over you and the rest of your family.

Please accept my deepest sympathy in your loss of John.I grew up and graduated in the same class with "Brewer" as we called him. He always was a techno wizzard and I always remember his "shocking machine" a contraption he built that would shock you as you held a wire. I remember that story and how he could make you laugh when you needed a smile. Please know that death is not the end but the beginning of the journey...
~ Donnie Wilson

Kathy & Martha, I am so sorry to hear about John. I knew John as Johnny. We spent 12 years with one another growing up attending the same schools. I always liked Johnny. He was definitely one of a kind and a good kind for sure. Please know that you and Martha, along with the family, will be in my thoughts and prayers today and in the days ahead. Kathy, I was extremely saddened to hear of John's passing. We shared way too many memories together for all of us to suffer this loss. I'm not sure just how many of our escapades he shared with you, but believe me, there are many of them. John will be sorely missed by all of us who knew him.

Kathy, We have very fond memories of John. He has "tinkered" with many items for us over the last few years. He was very knowledgeable and did a wonderful job. He was such a nice guy and we trusted him completely. He was unique in that he only charged what he thought was a fair price which we considered too 'low" so we generally insisted on giving more than the amount quoted. That showed his character. It is so rare to find someone with his ability who was not out to "make a killing" on his repairs. What a generous and sweet spirit. We will miss him. You and your family will be in our prayers..
~ Doug and Deb Price

As all I'm shocked and saddend at the news of John's untimely passing. He was as vibrant and happy as I'd ever known him to be when we spoke during the recent holiday season. Dear Kathy, We are shocked an saddened to learn that John passed. It is so unfair that you should suffer this loss. I clearly remember you wondering aloud how you would get along without John and how fortunate you are to have him in your life. Your pleasure recounting events you shared was evident every time you spoke of him. You clearly knew the unique intimacy and connection inherent in a successful marriage. You reassured and inspired me to believe again that a positive and fun partnership between two persons is still possible - still something to which I can aspire. Thank you for that. I have no words to express my sadness and sorrow at your loss. If there is ever anything I could do for you in any way at any time, it would be my privilege for you to ask. Always, Jane

They did a good job and Audrey lived another year! He was always my animal sitter for all my other animals.
