Obituary:
Ann S Blair, Longtime Jonesville resident, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Dec 12, 2000 at the Litchfield Nursing Centre, following a long illness.
Ann was born Aug 26, 1917 in Chicago Heights, Ill. to Joseph and Julie Buckness. She lived in Detroit for several years before moving to Allen. There she met and married her husband, Hugh on May 31, 1941. Soon after, they moved to their current home in Jonesville. She was devoted to her family. She had a kind and loving heart and was an inspiration to everyone she encountered.
She is survived by her husband, Hugh; son, Jerry (Nancy) Blair of Utah; sister Adele Gillespie of Jonesville; grandsons, Steve (Jane) Blair of Chatsworth CA; Tom (Erika) West Jordan, Utah; five great grandchildren and may nieces and nephews. Ann was preceeded in death by her brother, Joseph.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, Dec 15, at 1:30 pm at the Eagle Funeral home in Jonesville, with Rev Gary Oliver officiating.
