and an infant, Florence Marie who died shortly after her Mother. Ruth died Feb 26, 1944.
Sam married Mamie Bresie about 5 years later. Together
Sam and Mamie owned and operated a cafe ( hamburger place) in DeQuincy for many years. He died following a heart attack at age 66.
Survivors included his wife, Mamie; son, Allen Cole; step-son Douglass Doty; daughters, Aline Dardin and Sammie Joe Turner; and many grandchildren.
