Myrtle Swartz and Andrew Anderson Married – Will Live in Wisconsin
Miss Myrtle Swartz and Andrew Anderson were united in marriage last Wednesday evening, November 3rd, at 7 o'clock, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Swartz. Rev. P. A. Davies read the ceremony that united this worthy couple in the holy bonds of matrimony. The bride was dressed in white and carried a bouquet of flowers. The bridesmaid was Miss Edith Swartz, sister of the bride. The best man was Leslie Swartz. The wedding march was played by Miss Clara Handeland. Miss Edith Swartz sang a beautiful selection entitled "Sweetie o' Mine." Only the immediate relatives and friends were present to witness the marriage. After the ceremony a delicious three course dinner was served. Mr. Anderson is a farmer from Wisconsin. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Swartz who lives on a farm south of here. She is a graduate of the Estherville High School. Mrs. Anderson has many friends in this city because of her pleasant disposition. She is a refined young lady and will make a good wife for the man who has chosen her for his life's partner. Mr. Anderson is a stranger to most Estherville people but it is said by those who know him that he is a man of exceptional habits. Mr. and Mrs. Anderson left Saturday morning for a farm near Verona, Wisconsin, where they will make their future home. Estherville friends wish them much joy and happiness.
