There is no stone for Emmaline. She is not listed in the book from the 1996 survey.
Daughter of William Anderson.
Wife of Remembrance Hughes Curl, Sr.
In 1895 she was living Doyle Township, Clarke Co, IA. Her husband died in 1900 and was buried there at the Hopeville Cemetery. My information is that she died in Appanoose Co, IA but no cemetery was listed.
21 January 2011:
According to family members, she was buried beside her husband in this cemetery. Below is info from a descendant.
Second-there is a handwritten obit that my great-grandma Jennie S Curl had for her mother-in-law. That's a special find in my mother's things after she passed several years ago. Although I only found all the things after I started genealogy last year, wow, a year next month. Transcription includes exact; errors & id etc are noted below it.
MRS EMELINE CURL

Mrs. Emeline Curl died Saturday night, April 8, at the home of her son R.H. Curl, south of the city. She reached the remarkably old age of 95 years, being born June 7, 1820 in Green county, Penn. She had the distinction of having a grand child 53 years old, the father of a married daughter, he being Wm Sharpnack of east of Centerville. She had been in fair health till a few weeks ago. She was conscious till very near the end.

Also Emeline died of cancer of the face, as the death certificate copy states. The reference to her lucidity is incredible for the disease & the medical era.
