Dr. Cornelius William "Bill" Dross, 85, of Skaneateles and Pompano Beach, Fla. died Saturday at Community General Hospital. He was bom in Paterson, N.J. He received a doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Pennsylvania and interned at New York Hospital and Cornell Medical Center. He retired as a dentist in Teaneck. N.J., Hawthorne, N.J. and Ridgewood. N.J. He was in Dental Corps 01 the Army Air Foices in World War II. He was a life member of the American Dental Association, a member and past president of the Rotary Club. Hawthorne. N.J.. and a senior active member oi the Pompano Beacli and Skaneateles Rotary clubs. He was listed in the Who's Who in America in 1975,1976, 1993 and 1994. Survivors include His wife, the former Catherine Scobie: three sons, Harry J. of Syracuse. William R. of Meadville. Pa., and Walker S. of Skaneateles; four grandchildren; a great-granddaughter. Services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in First Presbyterian Church. Skaneateles. Burial. 10 a.m.
Wednesday in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, N.J. Calling hours. 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at B.L. Bush & Sons Funeral Home. 77 E. Genesee St., Skaneateles.
