Roberta Jean Corbett, 81, died at 9:25 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2007,
in the Golden Living Center, Oil City.
Born Feb. 22, 1926, in Franklin, she was the daughter of Everett
William and Frances Alzaida Bush Hennen.
She was a graduate of Rockland High School and the Oil City Business
Mrs. Corbett was employed as a bookkeeper for Franklin Steel, The Bon
Ton and Sears.
She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and the Albright
Sunday school class.
Mrs. Corbett enjoyed reading and knitting.
She first was married Oct. 26, 1947, to Lloyd Zeffie Barker II, who died Dec. 25, 1993. She then was married Nov. 24, 1995, to Ralph C. Corbett, who died Dec. 8, 1996.
Surviving are a daughter, Susan Cane of Orange, Calif.; a
stepdaughter, Barbara Lynn and husband, Don, and a stepson, Jack Corbett and wife, Wanda, all of Franklin; three grandchildren, John Eric Barker of Orange, Calif., Michael Lee Cane and wife, Monique, of Santa Ana, Calif., and Tiffany Anne Cane of Orange, Calif.; seven
stepgrandchildren, Jon Corbett and wife, Barbara of Lerona, W.Va., Jeffrey Corbett and wife, Jennifer, of Franklin, Dr. Wendy Corbett and husband, H. Thomas Fink of Lebanon, N.J., Tracy Martin and Betsy Sakalousky and husband, Anthony, of Franklin, Troy Lynn and wife, Paulette, of Titusville, Corbin Lynn and wife, Johanna, of Wyattville;
one great-grandson; 16 step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews and several cousins in the Greenville area.
In addition to her parents and husbands Mrs. Corbett was preceded in death by a son, Lloyd Z. �?oBud�?� Barker III; and a sister in infancy.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 21, in the Huff Chapel, 312 W. Park St., Franklin. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. that day in the funeral home with the Rev. John Sass Jr. officiating.
Interment will take place in the Hadley Cemetery.
