Zanesville Times Recorder. BRUNSWICK -- John W. Kokensparger, 65, of Brunswick, died Thursday, April 5, 1990, at Cleveland Metropolitan Hospital. Mr. Kokensparger was a Medina county resident for 35 years, a retired truck driver for Consolidated Freight and a member of Teamsters Local 24. He was in the US Marine Corps during World War II. Born Dec. 12, 1924, in Zanesville, he was a son of Cecil and Bessie Kokensparger. Surviving are his wife, Ann E. Kussmaul Kokensparger; one son, John P. Kokensparger of Brunswick; one daughter, Melody Damon of southern Ohio; two cousins, Joseph and Sally Denning of Zanesville; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Kokensparger. No calling hours will be observed. Graveside service will be at 1pm Monday at Eastlawn Memory Gardens in Brunswick.
