SPEEDING AUTO TAKES LIFE OF WELL KNOWN LOCAL YOUNG MAN
Orville Sportsman, age eighteen years, was instantly killed Wednesday evening when the car which he was driving turned turtle. He in company with Dick Welsh left Wednesday for Fort Morgan. The accident occured near Iliff, Colorado, when Sportsman driving at a high rate of speed attempted to round curve, running the car into some soft dirt where the road had just ben graded, caused the car to hit the bank and turned, turtle, killing Sportsman instantly. Welsh was very badly injured and his recovery is doubtful. He was taken to a hospital at Fort Morgan.
