Revolutionary War Patriot
Enlisted for 8 months in May 1775 with Capt. William Ballard's Co., in Col. Fry's Massachusetts troop, and for 3 years in May 1777 in Capt. John Drew's Co., 2d New Hampshire Battalion, commanded by Col. Nathan Hale. He was present at Valley Forge for the winter encampment in 1777-1778 with General George Washinton. He mustered out of the service in May 1780.
We married Elizabeth Parshley [1753-1837].
