He married (2) SARAH ADA OVER October 21, 1909 in Crawford County, Ohio, daughter of MARTIN HIGBEE OVER and MATILDA P HAUNA. She was born May 12, 1887 in Fredericksburg, Knox County, Ohio.
He married (3) BESSIE ABBA KNOFFLOCH May 06, 1918 in Ashland, Ashland County, Ohio, daughter of MICHAEL KNOFFLOCH and MARY JONES. She was born July 30, 1884 in Mansfield, Richland County, Ohio, and died March 07, 1932 in Congress, Wayne County, Ohio.
He married (4) VERONNA VIOLET HAAS Aft. 1932 in Ohio, daughter of WILLIAM HENRY HAAS and CARRIE BELLE TAYLOR. She was born June 06, 1906 in Bellville, Richland County, Ohio, and died November 24, 1977 in Lodi, Medina County, Ohio.

Cleve Darr, 73, Onee Gas Worker
West Salem - Grover Cleveland (Cleve) Darr, 73, died at Lodi Hospital Sunday afternoon after a long illness.
A Son of Mathew and Harriet Darr, he was born August 16, 1884, in Creston. He had lived in West Salem 15 years.
Mr. Darr, an employe of Ohio Fuel Gas Co. 32 years, retired eight years ago. He was a member of the Gasco Club in the Northeastern division of Ohio.
He is survived by his wife, Veronna Haas Darr; a grandson, James Cullins of Lexington; four step-sons, Russell Clantz of Ashland, Dale Troeger of Ashland, Louis Lehman of West Salem and richard E. Lehman of St. Louis, Mo.; three brothers, Jack of Lodi, Reuben of Ashland, and Arthur of Canton; two sisters, Mrs Edith Ault of Massillon and Mrs. Hazel Grass of St. Petersburg, Fla.; nieces and nephews.
His first wife, Beth, a brother, and a daughter died previously. Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Matteson. Funeral Home in West Salem, with the Rev. Ethan Leslie officiating.
Burial will be in West Salem Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home Monday evening.
