LeoJ.Huhmann dies at age 83 Leo J. Huhmann, 83, of Jefferson City, died Friday at a local hospital. Mr. Huhmann was born July 31. 1892, at St Elizabeth, the son of Frank and Elizabeth Boedecker Huhmann. On April 17,1917, he was married at St Elizabeth to the former Miss
Elizabeth Lueckenhoff, who died Jan. 7.1963. Mr. Huhmann was a resident of St Elizabeth for about 50 years. He lived in Ironton for about four years before moving to Jefferson City. He was a laborer and maintenance man. He had worked in several hospitals including St. Marys Health Center. Mr. Huhmann was a member of the St Peters Catholic Church, Jefferson City. Survivors include: One son, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. John Huhmann, Kansas City; one daughter. Sister Mary Josephine. Jefferson City; one brother. Emil Huhman, Columbus. Neb.; and two sisters, Miss Sophia uhmann 'and Mrs. Agnes Schaefer, both of St Louis. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m., today, at the Stevinson Funeral Chapel, St Elizabeth. Services will be at 10 a.m., Monday, at the St Lawrence Catholic Church. St Elizabeth, with Msgr. John Huhmann officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
