She was born July 29, 1924, in Lenoir, NC, daughter of the late Lonnie J. Kaylor Sr. of Charleston, SC and Ida Kaylor Morris of Lenoir, NC. She was the widow of Roscoe C. Haas and John (Bill) Barlowe.
Ms. Barlowe was a retired textile seamstress and homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Nancy (Ben) Charpia, and Jeanne de la Pea both of Summerville, SC, and Ann (Virgil) Campbell, Granite Falls, NC; a son, Gary (Sherry) Haas, Bonita Springs, FL; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and siblings, Lonnie (Cora) Kaylor, Jr., Moncks Corner, SC, and Christine Wright, Farmers City, IL.
Interment: Mt. Herman Methodist Church Cemetery, Lenoir, NC.
