ADA - Services for Mrs. Verda F. Pifer, 55, of 746 N. Main will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Hanson Funeral Home, Rev. Garner Ream officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Pifer died 12:40 a.m. Thursday in Memorial Hospital, Lima, of a heart attack.
Born Sept. 15, 1916, in Hardin County, she was the daughter of Elihu and Chloe Stover Ream, both of whom survive in Ada. She married Forest Pifer Nov. 23, 1946, and he survives.
Also surviving are a daughter Nicolette Niles, at home; one grandchild; and four sisters, Mrs. Opal Anspach and Mrs. Alice Clark, both of here, Mrs. Hazel Steward of St Petersburg, Fla., and Mrs. Marjorie Gaiffe of Toledo.
She was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club and Bethel Church of Christ.
