Elwood W. Sterner, 64, of W. Washington St., Fleetwood, Berks County, died Tuesday morning at home. Born in Port Clinton, he was a son of the late Lewis A. and Annie Henry Sterner. He had worked at Rockwell International for 28 years, retiring in 1995. He served as past director and lieutenant of Berks County Fire Police Association and was a former Boy Scout Leader for the Deer Lake troop. Surviving are his wife, a daughter, three sons, all of Fleetwood; four sisters and eight grandchildren. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday from Mae E. Stump Funeral Home Inc., Fleetwood. Interment will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
