GLATFELTER - On April 3, 1971, at 5:55 p.m., at the Hanover General Hospital, Adam G. Glatfelter, husband of the late Annie Caslow Glatfelter, Glen Rock RD 2, aged 89 years, 10 months, 15 days.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock. Interment in Zion (Shaffer's) Church Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening from 7 to 9.

Adam G. Glatfelter
GLEN ROCK - Adam G. Glatfelter, 89, husband of the late Annie Caslow Glatfelter, Glen Rock RD 2, died at 5:55 p.m. Saturday at Hanover General Hospital.
The son of the late Peter K. and Amelia Bupp Glatfelter he was a lifelong resident of the Neiman area. He spent most of his life farming, and retired 25 years ago.
He was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Zion (Shaffer's) Church and Sunday school. He taught the Ladies Bible Class for 50 years, served on the church choir and was superintendent of the Sunday school for a number of years.
Surviving are two sons, Paul A. Glatfelter, Glen Rock RD 2, and Wilmer C. Glatfelter, Seven Valleys RD 1; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson, and a brother, William H. Glatfelter, Dixie Drive, York.
The Rev. William H. Beck, his pastor, will officiate at funeral services at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock. Burial will be in Zion (Shaffer's) Church Cemetery.

Couple Wed Half Century Honored
Glen Rock - Mr. and Mrs. Adam Glatfelter recently observed their 50th wedding anniversary at a family dinner held at their home, near here. Open house was held in the afternoon for their friends.
The table was decorated with a three-tier wedding cake and a centerpiece of mixed flowers presented to them by their grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Glatfelter received many gifts.

Dr. and Mrs. K. S. Ehrhart and Mrs. Gilbert Reever.
