He had taught school in Santa Cruz, NM; and was a former superintendent of schools in Springer, NM. He was also well-known as an author of short stories.
Everett was a member of the Baptist Church and the National Retired Teachers Assn.
He was preceded in death by his sons, infant Everett Franklin Dellinger in 1918; and Dale Eugene Dellinger in 1944; his parents, Mary Ann (Samples) and Peter Franklin Dellinger; and his wives, Daisy M (Wood) Dellingerin 1915, and Nancy Florence (House) Duvall-Dellinger in 1935.
Everett is survived by his wife, Beatrice "Belle" (Parcels), of the family home; a daughter, Rosemary (Dellinger) Wildman, of Eunice, NM; and a brother, William Franklin Dellinger of Kansas City, MO.
