Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Saint Stephen United Methodist Church with Dr. Stan Cosby officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.

Kitty was born March 29, 1938, in Boise City, Okla. She was raised in Clayton, N.M., where she graduated from Clayton High School. After moving to Amarillo, she attended Northwest Texas Hospital School of nursing and later received her BSN from West Texas A&M University. After becoming a registered nurse, she was employed at Northwest Texas Hospital for 20 years.

Kitty was a well-rounded person with numerous interests including shopping, reading and cooking. When she wasn't cooking, she enjoyed watching the cooking channel. She was an avid collector of cooking utensils and was a firm believer that "Whoever dies with the most cooking gadgets wins." She got great joy from traveling across the U.S. in their motor home with her best friend, Nancy Schnell. One of her greatest delights in life was being "Grandmother Kitty" to her grandchildren, who all have fond memories of the special days she planned just for them. She loved and supported the fine arts, and was especially fond of great music. Kitty was a member of Saint Stephen United Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hurshell and Kathryn Davidson; a brother, Dan Davidson; and her former husband, Lavon Pagett.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Gibbs of Lubbock; three sons, Larry Pagett of Amarillo, Greg Pagett and wife Brandy of Midland and Keith Pagett of Lubbock; a brother, Artie Davidson and wife Judy of Albuquerque, N.M.; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Davidson of Austin; and her very best friend, Nancy Schnell; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. .

The family suggests memorials be to St. Stephen United Methodist Church, 4600 S. Western St., Amarillo TX 79109; or World Vision, P.O. Box 70172, Tacoma, WA 98481-0172.
