Birth: Sep. 13, 1835
Death: Jan. 24, 1865

Thomas Cone was captured 12/24/1864 along with his brother J.R. & was transferred from Louisville, Ky. He died of pneumonia during a time when Ohio was having the coldest winter on record with temperatures near 18 below zero.

Pvt Thos. Cone Co.D 21st Tenn. Cav. CSA
 
Note: Confederate POW who died while in yankee captivity during the civil war of 1861-65
