Obituary below has 4 major errors, 1., he is III, not Jr, his father is Jr., 2. died in Pacific, Kings County, Washington on 3. June 16th, not Sept. 18 making him 4. 69, not 68, unknown why the obituary had so many errors.

Louis Joseph Fashauer Jr., 68, of South Bend, Wash., died Sept. 18.

Mr. Fashauer was a native of San Francisco. He previously lived in and around Modesto for several years and in Mendocino County. He had been a diesel mechanic and hauled freight with his own truck. Also, he had been an employee of Steve Coburn, Raymond, Wash., and the Grays Harbor Conservation District, Montesano, Wash. He belonged to E Clampus Vitus. He was a member of First Baptist Church and had worked with Habitat for Humanity and the Toy House, Raymond. He served in the Navy during World War II; he formerly belonged to Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife, Dee Fashauer of Aberdeen, Wash.; a daughter, Julie Feast; stepchildren, Shawn Smith and Steffan Smith, both of Modesto; and four sisters and one brother.

Services have been conducted.
