Peterson, Mae Irene, 86, of Hart, passed away Monday, April 17, 2000 at home. She was born May 1, 1913 in Ludington, the daughter of Frank and Marie (Timm) Boerner. She had lived in this area since 1956. She married Fred J. Peterson in 1934 in Indiana. He passed away Dec. 11, 1987. She was a retail clerk. Survivors include, sons, Donald and Irene Peterson of Ferry, Tom Peterson of Hart, and Dick and Kay Peterson of Lapeer; a daughter, Judy and Dick Amstutz of North Muskegon; grandchildren, Steve and Vicki Peterson of Duluth, Minn., Jeff and Shannon Amstutz, Shelly and Adam Pyman both of Muskegon, and Vincent Peterson of Ludington; 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Peterson, one brother, and five sisters. Funeral service Wednesday, April 19, 1 p.m. at Tate Funeral Home, Hart with Rev. Harry Prochnau officiating. Visitation one hour prior to service. Burial in Lakeview Cemetery, Ludington.
